Reds Expand Sister Club Programme

Following a successful first six months, LLFC are accepting new Sister Clubs.
Introduced earlier this year, the Sister Club programme gives local grassroots girls’ team exclusive opportunities to enjoy special events and access to Liverpool Ladies. After a successful trial period we are delighted to announce that we are offering more clubs the chance to be part of the scheme.
Since its launch in February 2017, an initial five clubs have enjoyed a variety of activities, including acting as mascots and ball girls at LLFC matches, taken part in a Sister Club tournament, player visits, meet and greets and Q&A’s and an open training session with the first team. More information about our Sister Clubs and their experiences can be found in the special section of our website.
The Sister Club programme has been specially designed for grassroots clubs to affiliate to Liverpool Ladies, aiming to support the growth and development of their players, coaches and club. There is two levels of membership, gold and silver, with just three gold spaces remaining; each package includes free tickets to WSL1 matches, an exclusive camp, bespoke coaching programmes, player appearances, signed merchandise and opportunities to take part in Liverpool Ladies and FA activities.
Paul Metheringham, Liverpool Ladies General Manager, said ‘It’s been great seeing our Sister Club players cheering us on at our games, plus watching them enjoy the tournament - it’s what the programme is all about. One of our main aims is help inspire the next generation of players and supporting the development of the women’s game. Being able to offer even more clubs the chance to be involved is fantastic news and we look forward to growing the LLFC family.’
